The default login for DSM uses the username admin and a blank password, but these should be changed immediately to secure your system.

After the initial login, go to Control Panel > User, select the admin account, and create a strong, unique password. For added protection, disable or delete the default admin account and create a new administrator profile with a custom username. It is also highly recommended to enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to prevent unauthorized access and strengthen login security.
